Hi! My name is Frederik. I am originally from Munich, Germany, and work in the field of Artificial Intelligence. I believe AI can greatly help solve tasks that are traditionally challenging for us humans.

In 2024, I finished my PhD in Applied Mathematics at Université de Montréal and Mila - Quebec AI Institute under the supervision of Prof. Guy Wolf where I worked at the intersection of Geometric Deep Learning and Graph Signal Processing.

After graduating, I joined Recursion’s research engine Valence Labs, where I am working on foundation models for chemistry and virtual cell research that can power future drug discovery pipelines.
